PROJECT DETAILS
Dexter Wines had a website that definitely needed a redesign. The main focus of the site was to showcase their weekly tasting events, as well as to promote online ordering and their full inventory. While the shop page is hosted by CityHive and has their own look and feel, the rest of the site lacked a coherent design.
My approach was to go for a noir-like feel with their black and gold color scheme. I wanted to minimize the use of any stock photos as possible. The space itself is very inviting and open for a small shop.
Telling their story, the focus was that it’s family owned since 1982 and their focus on serving the community. Their weekly tastings is a great way to try out and discover new wines, as well as to meet other residents in the community.
