Rockaway Lifeguard Hoodies 2

Client: Emil Rodriguez on behalf of Rockaway Beach Lifeguards
Medium: Hoodie
Tasks/Skills: Hoodie graphic/ Illustrator.

The lifeguards at Rockaway beach were so happy of their previous hoodies that I was asked to do a second one. For this project, I was told of a very specific idea they had that they wanted to do based on inside jokes between the staff.

Things that they wanted to include were:

Having a Psyduck or regular duck being abducted by their “ships” that I used in the previous design.
The design of the ship similar but slightly more representing the RV from Spaceballs.
Having “Rockaway” on the design, written in the font of the Star Wars logo.

I experimented with different angles of the abduction and figured to go for something that looked a bit radial with the duck centered as the focal point.
